[RECIPE] Strawberry & Coffee Panna Cotta

Hi friends, this time I want to share a recipe on how to make a Strawberry and Coffee Panna Cotta which I have made a few days ago at home. I’ve been several times make Panna Cotta with the same recipe but this time with a little more interesting presentation than before… šŸ˜€ I am very grateful to learn first-hand how to make a delightful Panna Cotta in one cooking class session (limited invitations) with a Chef from Bakerzin Restaurant last year. From this cooking class session, I realized that the way to make Panna Cotta is so easy, and then I became often make them by myself at home.Ā A simple recipe, but the results are delicious and addictive! Now is the time for you to try it.. šŸ™‚

Ā Coffee and Strawberry Panna Cotta

Cooking Level : Easy

Preparation : 5-10 minutes

Servings : 4 cupsĀ 

Ingredients :Ā 

  1. 200ml thick cream (I usually use Elle & Vire Cooking Cream 20oz or 200ml)
  2. 200ml Fresh Milk (I usually use Greenfields Fresh Milk)
  3. 3 table spoon caster Sugar or any other Sugar with fine quality
  4. one Vanilla Bean, split, seeds scraped
  5. 1,5Ā tsp Powdered Gelatine
  6. one sachet of your favorite instant Coffee or any coffee that you like (to make the Coffee version)
  7. fresh Strawberries (to make the Strawberry version)
  8. 200ml Strawberry MilkĀ (to make the Strawberry version)

Cooking Method for Coffee Panna Cotta :

  1. Place the whipped cream in a saucepanĀ with 200 ml of Fresh Milk and add 3 tablespoons of sugar, then mix everything.
  2. Cook over low heat, stirring to dissolve the sugar. Bring to a gentle boil, then turn off heat.
  3. Add the Vanilla Seeds from the Vanilla Bean.
  4. Add 2 tablespoons of ground Coffee, then mix everything. Heat until boiling. Turn off heat.
  5. Place the mixture into a small bowl, and place in a pan of cold water. Leave the mixture for 5 minutes.
  6. Add to the warm cream mixture, 1,5 teaspoons Powdered Gelatine and quickly stir until gelatin dissolves.
  7. Allow the cream mixture at room temperature for about 20-30 minutes then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  8. After Panna Cotta texture has been set, then we can decorate some coffee beans on it.

Strawberry Panna Cotta

Cooking Method for Strawberry Panna Cotta :

  1. Follow all the same step from step 1 until step 8 above, but this time you have to use Fresh Strawberry Milk instead of regular Fresh Milk.
