[NEW POST] Magnificent Ramadan with Turkish Cuisine at Sailendra, JW Marriott Jakarta

This Ramadan season, JW Marriott Hotel Jakarta features a tantalizing combination of authentic Turkish cuisine at Sailendra Restaurant. The restaurant which located on the ground floor of the JW Marriott consists of two floors where they use an open kitchen concept. This restaurant not only has one open kitchen, but seven pieces consisting of Tandoori, satay, noodles, sushi, pasta, pizza, roast duck, and Thai cuisine. In addition, there is also a kitchen that processes a combination of western-local cuisine, a lounge area for bakery and pastry, dessert buffet and also wine storage area. I used to eat and held many events at this restaurant when I was still working at Hewlett Packard office, which lies close to the JW Marriott Hotel Jakarta. Gosh, I missed those moments! Well, anyway.. Sailendra now awarded as Best International Restaurant from Now! Jakarta. Congratulations!

That’s why in this holy month of Ramadan, Chef Eno offers us with a large spread of authentic Turkish dishes with a little adaptation of  rich Indonesian spices. There are Izmir Koftesi (beef dumpling in tomato sauce), Lahmacum (Turkish pizza), Mahmudiye (braised chicken with dried fruits) and Karides Guvec (Shrimps casserole with tomato and mushroom). For appetizers, try Tabbouleh, which is made of chopped parsley. All of them are simply nice and delicious! A must try!
