[KULINER BALI] Gusto Gelato and Caffe – The Best Ice Cream in Bali

Are you looking for a good dessert while you’re in Bali? A good gelato or ice cream, maybe? Aha! Gusto Gelato and Caffe is the right answer for you! Again, I got a personal recommendation by Balifoodies that I must visit this famous spot while I’m in Bali. So before we return to Jakarta, we pay a visit to Gusto Gelato that is located at Mertanadi, Kerobokan, Kuta Utara, Bali. Even though Gusto Gelato isn’t a new brand, still a lot of people coming to this place. Not only local people but tourist from many cities of Indonesia and other countries always come to Gusto Gelato for a goodness of Gelato. I was pretty confused at first because this cafe was already crowded and almost full when I came at 11 o’clock a couple days ago. Oh, wow!

Here I’m going to share with you the crowd on that day. This picture was taken around 11am to 12pm when I was there enjoying my Gelato. If you want to take a picture of your gelato, I suggest you to sit on the indoor area, rather than the outdoor area. The weather is very hot in Bali even during the rainy season like this in December 2014 and could make your ice cream melt quickly. But it’s less crowd outside, you decide then.

What we need to do before choosing the ice cream is to order and pay it first at the cashier. I ordered two flavors of gelato with ice cream cone, and surprisingly, the price is very cheap. With only IDR 20K, I can choose any of 2 flavors. Luckily, we can always ask for a tester of all the unique flavors before deciding. Yay!!

I haven’t tried all the flavors because there are so many unique flavors that’s available at Gusto Gelato. Gusto Gelato becomes a well known ice cream spot in Bali because they have a wide variety of homemade gelato with lots of unique flavors, from sweet, salty, and spicy.

I was a little bit confused to choose, so I asked one of the servants, which one is the favorite or best-seller flavor. And finally we decided to have the Avocado flavor mixed with the Gianduia flavor on my ice cream cone. It was super yum! Big portions of ice cream, homemade, creamy, sweet and tasted delicious! You guys should definitely pay a visit to Gusto Gelato!
