Bali has many beautiful cafes to be explored nowadays, and there’s one I have fallen in love, called Bungalow Living Cafe located in Canggu, Bali. The Bungalow Living Cafe has been there since 21 November 2012 and still attracts many visitors, especially tourists from other cities or countries. It was our first visit, and we immediately fell in love with this cafe. Bungalow Living combines beautiful homewares with a tasty home-style menu. A lot of gorgeous and inspiring stuff available here for sale to decorate your home, from books, cotton cushions, woven place mats, handcrafted wall art, music, etc.
The atmosphere inside the cafe just like in an old colonial-style wooden bungalow. It feels homey with all the colorful decorations and vintage stuffs inside the cafe, nice music, a warm and inviting atmosphere. Not only creative, but also lovely to see!
We wanted something fresh to accompany the rest of the day before returning to Jakarta. So we ordered Berry Delight Smoothie, one of their most favorite drinks until now. It contains a mixed of fresh berries, tasted so fresh and delicious! The Hazelnut Latte also tasted nice to accompany the sweet cupcakes that we had on that day.
Berry Delight Smoothie, IDR 50K
Hazelnut Latte, IDR 30K
Christmas Cupcakes, IDR 25K each
I was tempted to buy a Christmas-theme cupcakes which available on the cake display near the cash register. It was three days left before the Christmas Day, so we thought, why not? And, surprisingly, the cupcakes are one of the best too! It was firm and moist, exactly like what we like.
Salmon Baguette, IDR 50K
At the same time, we also had a best-seller Salmon Baguette. Long, flat and soft baguette came with slices of pink smoked salmon, cream cheese, and fresh vegetables. It looks simple, yet so delicious. A delicious baguette that is hard to resist.
From our overall experience, we loved this cafe. Relaxed atmosphere with good food and drinks has given us a unique experience while in Bali. This cafe could be a place to escape when you need to be alone, just sitting there, do some tasks and enjoy coffee with some food or snacks. I would definitely recommend you to visit Bungalow Living Cafe, and we would love to come back again when we visit Bali next time.
