The popularity of Korean pop culture has grown where now people crave for Korean Dessert as well. Pat Bing Soo Korean Dessert Shop that has been opened a week ago in Flavor Bliss Alam Sutera calling all dessert lovers to try it. We visited this place yesterday, and we left the place with happy feelings! Pat Bing Soo is located exactly on the 2nd floor above Seorae Korean Restaurant, with the same owner and the same management. They use the Seorae‘s extension building, which is why only a few tables available here.
Only a few more months before we travel again, we’ve already booked our flights since last year and being here makes us can’t wait to travel to Korea soon!! Ow yeah!!! Now let’s get back to Pat Bing Soo. Although the place is small, the neat table settings, playful color and minimalist decorations, make us feel comfortable. They also decorate the place as if we’re in Seoul, Korea, and the names of the desserts are also taken from the Seoul Subway Station. Unique and very creative!
As a Korean Dessert shop, they serve a wide variety of Pat Bing Soo (Korean Shaved Ice) with several bases of shaved ice; Original (Natural), Milk, Matcha, Coffee, and Fruity. The fruity shaved ice is divided into two flavors, Peach and Plum. Although there are several flavors of shaved ice, we cannot choose the shaved ice base. It all comes as a package that’s available on their menu.
There’s also a spot where we can write and draw something on the whiteboard. Look to what we did! 😀
We’ve tried their signature flavors such as Bibim Pat Bing Soo, Namdaemun Bing Soo, and Apgujeong Bing Soo. All of them were so refreshing and delicious! Among these three desserts, I have to say that Bibim Patbingsoo is the unique dessert I’ve ever found. It looks just like a Bibimbap, a popular Korean rice bowl dish.

Bibim Patbingsoo, IDR 48K
I know you are tempted to try this dessert when you see the lovely sunny side up egg on top of it. It’s a combination of original shaved ice, served with fresh strawberries, fresh kiwi, Nata de coco, jelly, and red beans. The white part of the egg is made of Vanilla Ice Cream, and the yellow part is made of fresh peach, how lovely! The strawberry sauce complements all the combinations made it taste even fresher, mild aftertaste and very yummy!
Abgujeong Bingsoo, IDR 45K
Abgujeong Bing Soo was also unique for me. It’s made of basic shaved ice, served with cheese sauce, and topped with grated cheese, cheesecakes, cheese wafer and Vanilla Ice Cream. All the goodness of cheese was available here! It was indeed yummy, but it becomes a bit creamy because it contains cheese sauce inside. It’s perfect for cheese lovers.
Namdaemun Bingsoo, IDR 35K
If you love rum and raisins, you should try Namdaemun Bing Soo. It may look simple, but turned out to be so delicious. A basic shaved ice served with Coffee jelly, cornflakes and topped with Rum Raisins Ice Cream. The rum flavor blends perfectly with the vanilla ice cream, and we loved it so much!
In addition to the Korean desserts, they also serve a variety of Korean snacks. We’ve tried three of their signature snacks, and they were all so delicious!
Dynamite Spam, IDR 58K - non halal
If you love pork just like us, then you should try this one too. A portion of Spam (spiced pork ham) topped with homemade spicy mayonnaise sauce and served with eight small rice balls that stuffed with seaweed inside. Salty, spicy and everything in between, tasted so delicious! It’s great as a snack with friends and family.
Fried Samgyeopsal, IDR 69.8K - non halal
Fried Samgyeopsal reminds me of my favorite crispy chicken skin, but this one is made from Samgyeopsal (fatty slices of pork belly meat). It was a sinful snack yet very crispy, slightly salty, and makes us addicted to it!
Spicy Chicken Wings with Cheese, IDR 78K
Aha! We also loved the spicy chicken wings! Six pieces of chicken wings are served with melted mozzarella cheese and lots of french fries. The chicken wings were crispy outside, and juicy inside. It tasted awesome and finger-licking good, so yummy!
To accompany our desserts and snacks, we also tried their drinks. Either Peach Collagen Tea or Grape Soda Cube, both of them were so refreshing and not overly sweet!
Peach Collagen Tea, IDR 28K
The collagen tea became my most favorite drink that day because the collagen inside the drink works to maintain the beauty of the skin.
Grape Soda Cube, IDR 30K
While the soda cube drink version was also interesting, a nice combination of grape soda and ice cubes made from grapes as well.
Overall, we had a wonderful experience at Pat Bing Soo. None of the desserts, foods and drinks failed us. We loved everything here, and I would personally recommend you to visit Pat Bing Soo.
