I’m so happy to know that Gading Serpong has evolved with so many culinary destinations. We spotted there’s a new restaurant called Clique Kitchen and Bar that is located just before the Toyota Showroom and exactly located at the RuMor (Rumah Motor), Gading Serpong, Tangerang. Clique Kitchen and Bar has been opened on December 13, 2014, and we decided to have lunch there. Located on the second floor of the RuMor’s building, Clique immediately stole my attention with its minimalist and charming atmosphere where wooden tables and chairs mostly used. The indoor dining area is very comfortable and spacious, while the outdoor area for smokers is also available, but outside is smaller than the non-smoking area (indoor).
Clique Kitchen and Bar serves a variety of Italian fusion food, such as Pizza, Pasta, Salad, Soup, Sandwich, Seafood, Poultry and Beef, some Asian dishes, and kid’s menu as well. All menus looked appealing to me, but because our stomachs were quite full, so we only ordered some of their food recommendations. They also offered us to try their mocktail and signature tea. But the mocktail and signature tea looks similar for me, so I chose Clique Punch to accompany my lunch.
Clique Punch, IDR 30K
Clique also serves wine and cocktails, and many people opt for them both. Instead of having a cocktail, I prefer to have the Clique Punch; a simple yet very refreshing drink without alcohol. Fresh marquise, mint leaves, ginger ale, everything went well with a hint of lemongrass. It’s great to refresh the hot summer day.
Salmon Gravlax, IDR 36K
I ordered Salmon Gravlax from the salad section. This salad is different because it’s served without vegetables like what we ever imagined. Thin slices of raw salted salmon served with oregano. The taste of fresh lemon and the caper dressing blends beautifully with the salmon. It may look simple but luxurious, beautiful texture and flavor of the dressing did not overpower the salmon. We loved it!
Fagottini Con Salsa Di Pomodoro, IDR 55K
Clique also offers homemade pizza with fresh tomato sauce. A selection of pasta is quite interesting as well. Not only Spaghetti and Fettuccine, but also Penne, Fusilli, and Farfalle with several choices of homemade sauces. There was this Fagottini Con Salsa, which looked appealing and unique for me. This little bundle of homemade pasta shaped not unlike a wonton and served with a fresh tomato sauce. The pasta was perfectly cooked and stuffed with delicious fillings, spinach, and ricotta. It was so tasty and delicious, best eaten while its still warm.
From our overall experience, we would recommend you to visit Clique Kitchen and Bar. Each meal presented with an attractive appearance, with reasonable and affordable prices as well, ranging from RP 18.000, – to RP 145.000. The cozy and relaxed atmosphere, attentive staffs, accompanied by easy listening music, Clique Kitchen and Bar could be your next culinary destination.
