[NEW SPOT] Meow Cuteness Overload at Cutie Cats Cafe Jakarta

Oh my..Oh my…!! Finally, Jakarta has its own cute cat cafe, called Cutie Cats Cafe that recently opened in Kemang, South Jakarta on February 12, 2015. They claim this cafe as the first integrated cat cafe in the world, but there are several other countries that also have similar concepts. For example, the first cat cafe opened in Tokyo since 2005, followed by some other countries; Singapore, Canada, Beijing, London, Rusia, and some other countries. We could easily find this place right on the second floor of The House of Pika Pika. The Cutie Cats Cafe has opened their doors to all cat lovers, and we were excited when we saw these cute cats through the glass window before we entered the playing room.

Cutie Cats Cafe is a cafe where you can see a variety of cute cats and play with them. There are around 15 cats available in the playing room for the moment, and they will add  a few more cats when the Grand Opening launched later, told one of the staff.

To play with these cats, we have to pay IDR 50K per hour per person. We were both subject to a surcharge of IDR 38K per person because both of us left the playroom, not on time. Hiks… They should remind us of the time because we were busy flirting Argo, Karamello, Jolie, and Fox, the super active Persian kitten. Ha-ha.. 😀

In addition to the adorable cats, Cutie Cats Cafe also serves a variety of desserts and drinks (coffee, tea, etc.). I tried the Kitty Cupcakes (signature dessert) IDR 32.5K, Tom and Jerry Cookies IDR 15K, and Apple Sparkler, one of their signature drinks for IDR 30K. So, yup.. I spent IDR 85K total with tax for this dessert and drink. Neither food nor drink, both tasted fine; nothing too special, but it could be an option if you want an afternoon snack while accompanied by cute cats in there.

If you’re a cat lover and love desserts, then Cutie Cats Cafe can be a fun choice to have a relaxing afternoon, and play with the friendly cats in the playroom. Do something different this weekend, and relax with the cats. Meow!

NOTE: Make sure to make a RESERVATION before you visit this cafe as they have a limitation space in the playroom.
