Pacific Place as one of the prestigious Mall in the capital Jakarta is never empty of visitors. Just recently, I realized the existence of this restaurant, Odysseia, a gorgeous and an impressive Italian restaurant located in the lobby area outside the Lafayette Gallery. A combination of elegant and minimalist decor equipped with an arrangement of greenery plant makes the outdoor seating looks so comfortable, especially when the weather is nice and breezy. I’m pretty sure that the outdoor seating will turn out to be as romantic in the evening as many star-shaped lights hanging from the ceiling.
I chose to sit outside, although they provide indoor seating that is cooler than the outside. The outdoor area made me want to relax with my husband while enjoying a glass of Mocktail at this restaurant. I ordered one of the favorite Mocktails named Peach Strawberry Royal Mocktail, and my husband ordered the Oasis Odysseia Mocktail, which is recommended by the waiter. Both of these drinks were very tasty and refreshing because it contained fresh fruits in the drink and did not contain alcohol, so it is safe for consumption.
Peach Strawberry Royal, IDR 55K

Oasis Odysseia, IDR 55K
Fresh watermelon and lychee fruit, a dash of passion fruit syrup, topped up with Ginger Ale
Chicken Parmigiana, IDR 92K
I’m not a fan of chicken breast, but this Chicken Parmigiana was so tender, which you know isn’t always the case with breast meat. The chicken breast was fried in a light batter, served with diced Parmentier potatoes, tomato ragout and mozzarella cheese on top. It was simple, but the Italian seasoning made this dish so flavorful. We loved it!
Italian Giant Meatballs, IDR 125K
The waiter recommended me to try the Italian Giant Meatballs because it’s one of their favorite pasta. A classic Italian-style meatballs that were huge, and soft, and is served with al dente pasta. And surprisingly, they were loaded with generous mozzarella cheese covered the pasta with fresh basil, completed with the rich and savory Napoli sauce. It was absolutely delicious!
Overall, we enjoyed all food and drinks above at Odysseia, and we will be happy to come back again someday to try some other dishes. They provide a wide variety of Italian food ranging from IDR 82K and for beverages, ranging from IDR 35K. Odysseia is a nice place to dine in while sitting facing the crowd at the lobby Lafayette Gallery. But then I imagined what kind of restaurant or cafes would be in Paris, probably nicer and more lovely than here.
