Finally, we had the opportunity to visit one of the happening coffee shops in town, Pennyroyal Coffee at Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) which recently opened this month. At first, it was a bit difficult to find this place, but we finally found it. Pennyroyal Coffee is located at Ruko Cordoba behind Warung Leko in Pantai Indah Kapuk, PIK, and if you’re familiar with this area, you’ll easily find them. I’ve heard that they serve good coffee, and there is Mimi, a white female dog that seems to be an added appeal for visitors who love coffee and also love dogs, like us. So, even though we had to park our car a few blocks away from the coffee shop because there were no more parking spaces available at the front of the Ruko or nearby their coffee shop, it wasn’t a problem for us.
Although the place is small, the minimalist décor creates a clean look, intimate and convenience that makes everyone seem to enjoy their coffee time. This place is so warm and friendly you won’t want to leave. And I’ve got a good news for you, Hey coffee lovers! During the soft opening, Pennyroyal Coffee still gives a 15% discount to the visitors.
Pennyroyal Coffee offers home brewed coffee from espresso, black coffee, macchiato, picolo, cappuccino, flat white, and latte ranging from IDR 28K to IDR 34K. Oh, they also serve various homemade sweets that you’ll get to munch. I’ve tried the Banana Cake, and it was so delicious. This cake has a nice banana aroma, moist and not overly sweet; it simply became a perfect pairing to my Hot Latte. So don’t forget to get one when you order a cup of coffee because the Banana Cake is one of their favorite cakes.

Besides Banana Cake, they also offer Chocolate Apple Cake, Brownies, Vanilla Choux, and Carrot Cake ranging from IDR 25K to IDR 30K. So, if you’re looking for an intimate place to enjoy coffee, then Pennyroyal Coffee is where you need to go. This small artisan coffee shop is another perfect spot to have your caffeine dose. Give it a try!
