Preparation:
- Put 12 tbsp of fresh milk (I added 5 tbsp milk more to make a thinner batter. If it seems too thick for you, add a bit more milk) and white vinegar in a mixing bowl. Mix and leave it for 5 minutes. Set aside.
- In a separate bowl, add flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt, and then mix well.
- Now, back to the mixture of milk on #1. Add one large egg + 2 tbsp of melted butter and stir it through with a spoon.
- Once combined, add the mixture from #3 to mixture on #2, and then whisk until smooth.
- Heat nonstick pan over medium heat, then coat it with 1 tbsp of butter.
- Once that melts, drop the batter, a spoonful at a time to the hot pan.
- Cook until the first side is golden brown, or until the top surface bubbles and is dotted with holes.
- Flip and cook until the underside is golden brown/browned.
- Remember to adjust the heat setting if necessary!! Peek after 30 seconds and watch carefully!
- Keep the pancake warm while you cook the others and fry the bacon.
- Place the pork bacon in the middle of two pancakes, and served them with sausage and egg.
- Serve immediately.
Happy cooking and we hope you enjoy the recipe!
Cheers,
