Sopra Ristorante‘s new outlet, which located in Pondok Indah Mall (South Jakarta) has become famous for its traditional Italian menu for the past year since its operated, and I managed to visit them for lunch last week. After I had paid the bill, I figured out that they are under the same management with the Opera Blanc restaurant. Because at that moment, the waiter gave me something like a brochure (catering and delivery brochure) which consists of both brands in it. We enjoyed a delicious Italian lunch at Sopra Ristorante; that’s why I want to share our experience with you. The ambiance of the restaurant looks classic, a bit rustic, yet still classy where most of the decor dominated by black and white color, the art on the walls, the beautiful ceiling and hardwood floors.
Near the entrance, I found something interesting. Sopra Ristorante was awarded as Best European Cuisine, and Overall Excellence Restaurant by Eat Jkt.

Passion Curacao Mocktail, IDR 49K
We were both looking for something light yet refreshing in our drinks, so we chose this Passion Curacao. It’s made from a combination of fresh orange juice, with blue Curacao and passion fruit. Loved it!
Fettuccine Sopra, IDR 99K
For lunch, I went with the Fettuccine Sopra while my husband picked the Stagioni Pizza. Fettuccine Sopra is one of the homemade pasta at Sopra Ristorante apart from Ravioli, Lasagna, Gnocchi, and Tortellini. The pink-orange sauce in Turkey Bacon and mushroom tasted like a light tomato sauce, but richer and so flavorful. This dish instantly became my favorite, and the same thing happened with the Stagioni Pizza.
Stagioni Pizza, IDR 69K
Sopra Ristorante offers three types of Pizza; there are Original Pizza, Premium Pizza, and Family Pizza. Stagioni Pizza is one of the Original types that was recommended by the waiter at that time, and it was so delicious! Stagioni means “four seasons” in Italy, no wonder this pizza was represented in four main ingredients; artichoke, pepper, black olive, and mushroom. And here, Stagioni accompanied with tomato sauce, turkey bacon, and mozzarella. Although it looked simple, the taste was incredible!
Overall, we were pleased with all the food above and left the restaurant with a happy tummy. Although the price is a bit pricey, we would love to come back for its fresh ingredients, friendly service, worth it portion and presentation wise.
