[NEW SPOT] Baileys and Green Tea Soft Serve Ice Cream at Touketsu Dessert House

Not long ago I visited a new dessert house that recently opened in North Jakarta. Touketsu Dessert House, which is located near to Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK), offers a variety of dessert creations that are quite interesting. Although the place is small, the colorful walls and minimalist decor create a warm and cozy atmosphere inside. Apparently, they still have a soft opening promo 30% off discount for certain desserts. I asked the person who was at the cashier, and he said that the discounts will last for the next two weeks. Kewl!! I love discount, who doesn’t? Ha-ha.. 😀

I ordered two attractive desserts on the menu, Drunk by Dessert and Green Tea Coco. Not only the interesting presentations, but both of these dessert were surprisingly delicious! The rich Baileys flavor of the Baileys Ice Cream on Drunk by Dessert was wonderfully served with Baileys Jelly, Pocky Choco, Waffle, Choco Pops, and Caramel Sauce.

The Green Tea Coco was also interesting. It should be a Choco Coco as on their menu, but the waitress said they ran out of Chocolate ice cream. She offered me the Green Tea ice cream, and I was like, hey, that’s better! The Green Tea ice cream served in an exotic coconut shell along with the traditional Crispy Waffle (commonly known as Kue Semprong in Jakarta), Pocky Choco, Oreo, and shredded chocolate on top. It made a nice twist in overall flavor because we can also enjoy the ice cream with some tender coconut that is still in the shell. Delish!

If you always crave for something sweet after a meal, or perhaps before eating, you might want to try this newly opened dessert house. We enjoyed both desserts and left this place with a happy tummy.
