[NEW SPOT] Cute Animal Bakpao called Paoger at Madre Arbanat, Serpong

I wonder how people can be creative with something cute and interesting for their business. Madre Arbanat, a recently opened cafe located at Gading Serpong is what I’m talking about here. This one-month-old small cafe only has a small parking lot outside. However, the decor and the atmosphere inside the cafe makes everyone feels like home, comfortable and quiet. By looking at their menu, they seem only to focus on light snacks that can be paired with a couple of drinks, such as coffee, tea, frappe, and yogurt. Not surprisingly, because there are already too many restaurants that sell heavy meal in their neighborhood, and this cafe is located nearby to the TK Pahoa in Gading Serpong.

For drinks, we ordered a yoghurt-based drink that is recommended by them. Blueberry sounded interesting, so we tried it. Sure enough, the Blue Taste Yogurt looked gorgeous with a beautiful blue color, and it was not overly sweet. The Hot Cappuccino coffee was also presented nicely with latte art in the form of a cute bear on it.

This cafe sells black burger and red velvet burger as its signature menu, but I was interested in something else. They have a different shape of Bakpao Bun that looks so fun and cute. There are three forms of the bun; we can choose the shape of a pig, a dog, or chicken that comes in different colors. We can even choose the type of meat as well, either chicken, beef, or fish fillet. So, I decided to order the dog-shaped bun (Paoger Dog) with fish fillet meat, and they served it with cheese, vegetables, and lots of spicy mayonnaise inside. It was simple, and delicious! We enjoyed it together with the spicy chips which served on the side.

While from the sweet category, we ordered Paoger Bear, which comes in brown color. All the goodness of chocolate, such as chocolate ice cream served with crunchy chocolate bits and chocolate sauce, filled inside the Paoger Bear. Overall, it tasted good and refreshing, but a little sweet for me for my personal preference and my husband ended up to finish it by himself, ha-ha.. But I think, kids or chocolate lovers will certainly love the taste.

Overall from our experience, Madre Arbanat is a nice little cafe with a warm service, decent food, and drinks at an affordable price. They still have a 10% discount off for all items, but I’m not sure when the promotion will end. If you’re around the neighborhood or perhaps looking for something cute, yummy, and colorful, you may want to visit this place and give it a try! 😀
