[SINGAPORE] Unforgettable Stay at Marina Bay Sands & Wonderful Times with Anisa Rahma Adi

Do you believe that when you are expecting less, God actually hears your prayers, know your heart and provide you with something that you never expect it before? I believe it because this is what happened to me. I’ve been to Singapore many times a few years ago (certainly before the currency gets higher as it is today) and often take pictures with one of the fabulous iconic landmarks in Singapore, the Marina Bay Sands

I can never forget this place because I once had a romantic dinner on Christmas Eve at KuDeTa, the iconic lounge, bar and restaurant that situated on the 57th floor, above the landmark observation deck of Marina Bay Sands on December 24, 2013, with my family. I realized that KuDeTa is now closed and renamed to Ce La Vi, I don’t know why. With the most wonderful things surrounding the hotel, Marina Bay Sands is like a dream place to stay. I never thought that I was finally able to stay in one of their rooms, and I found myself wasn’t dreaming. I’m here, yay! Thank God!

Just last Friday, Oct 23, 2015, I stayed in room number 4318, located in Tower 3 of the Marina Bay Sands and spent three nights at this absolute heaven. Woohoo! I enjoyed the spacious space in my room, large bathroom (but unfortunately without a bathtub), nice amenities, and even better; there’s a terrace in my room overlooking the Esplanade and Garden by the Bay. Yay!

Upon arrival, I ordered the Singapore Hainan Chicken Rice for my lunch from the in-room dining services. Tasty Hainan Chicken Rice served with a combination of chili sauce, ginger paste and dark soy sauce that makes up a perfect condiment to paired with the chicken rice. It’s my kind of comfort food whenever I visit Singapore. So yummy!

So, if you follow and see all my activities through my Snapchat and Instagram account, you probably already know what I was doing in Singapore recently. Yes, I had this special privilege to attend the WTA Finals 2015 which held at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, on Sunday, Oct 25, 2015. But I’m not going to talk much about the WTA Finals 2015 in this post, as I want to share all the excitement that we had during the WTA Finals 2015 in a separate post. So, please stay tuned, guys!:D

Special Tickets to Watch the WTA Finals 2015 on Sunday in Singapore by Myfunfoodiary

I was not only pleased with the WTA Finals 2015 but also eager to meet the mystery girl who came and joined us later at the Tower 1 Lobby of Marina Bay Sands. Anisa Rahma Adi who started in showbiz as part of popular girl group Cherrybelle, and left the band in 2013 to pursue her college studies, is currently in a vocal group with two of her sisters called Milova, and has three movies coming out in the next six months. Wow! I was lucky to meet this 25-year-old singer-actress and got to watch the match between Maria Sharapova and Agnieszka Radwanska last Sunday, Oct 25, 2015, together with her.

Listy Theresia, as one of her fans from Jakarta, was also lucky to be part of this trip. It was a joy for Anisa to be in touch with her loyal fans again, Listy. From the moment she landed in Singapore, her star power was apparent when she gets stopped as her fans from Indonesia waylaid us to grab a picture of her. We have spent wonderful times together since the beginning of the trip. And because the view from the Skypark and the Infinity Pool above the rooftop of the 57th floor are the highlights of the Marina Bay Sands Hotel, we decided to swim together before we watched the tennis match that day. Woohoo! 😀

To see how Anisa and Listy were so close one another, I felt they had a special connection, because they were like sisters. This down-to-earth girl loves to smile, and easily make friends with everyone. With a bunch of activities, she keeps updating and sharing her experiences through many social media. You can view more of her travel photos on her Migme profile @anisarahmaadi and find mine as well on my Migme profile @myfunfoodiary. It was fun using Migme as a media to share whatever I want, it can be about travel, food, and my daily activities there.

Despite the fact, the haze in Singapore were not good, but that did not ruin my stay-cation here. The night view of the Esplanade and Garden by the Bay from my room was gorgeous! For me, Marina Bay Sands is like a dream place to stay in, and I’m so grateful to be part of this trip which hosted by Migme. Thank you so much Migme for having me! Pssst, I will share more of Anisa Rahma’s activities together with other bloggers and media from Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines in another post. So, stay tuned! 🙂
