Christmas is just around the corner, and I feel excited! I came up with an idea to share this quick and easy recipe for making a BBQ Roasted Chicken at home. I realize that some of us can’t wait to start counting down the days until Christmas. So, while counting, you can probably learn to cook for your loved one or family. Trust me, cooking isn’t that hard! It takes some learning and practice, and then you’ll love this fun activity in the kitchen! Just follow these simple steps, and without realizing it, you’ve finished cooking.
This whole BBQ Roasted Chicken turns out so flavorful, juicy and tender! Yay, and I’m glad my family and friends enjoy it so much! So, this Barbecue Roasted Chicken recipe is one of the easiest ways to make a holiday dish when you have guests, easy dinner, or anytime you want it. It is a perfect dish to feed the whole family! I hope you like it, and please feel free to adjust the recipes based on your preferences.
Ingredients: (for 3 persons)
1 whole chicken, rinse, and remove any excess fat or leftover feathers
1 orange, halved
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
Barbecue (BBQ) sauce + salt

Preparation:
1. Preheat oven to 200c for 5 minutes.
2. Combine 250ml of Barbecue sauce + 2 tablespoons of melted butter + dried oregano and dried parsley in a small bowl.
3. Place the whole chicken on the roasting tray, then pour over the mixed sauce on the chicken and rub it all over the skin. If you want, you can also season the chicken generously with salt and pepper.
4. Then stuff the cavity with dried rosemary and half orange.
5. Leave the chicken at room temperature for 30 minutes.
6. Roast the chicken in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until the skin turns brown and dry.
7. Slice the chicken and serve it with vegetables.
