You probably already have a favorite coffee shop, but here I’m going to share another hidden gem called Bermvda Coffee which just opened its door for public three days ago. Situated on a quiet corner just behind Sate Khas Senayan Restaurant in Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) area, Bermvda Coffee has a warm and relaxed vibe with accompanying tunes, good coffee, and friendly staff that will make you want to stay a while. Whether you need inspiration, in need of caffeine, meet up with friends or colleagues, or perhaps take a break with your never-ending to-do list, you should try Bermvda Coffee to experience something different here.
The coziness and warmth brought by the concept created by them make Bermvda Coffee has its own characteristics in terms of design. The decor on the first floor creates a bigger space than it should be and a comfy hangout for everyone, while my friend who is one of the owners of this place told me that the second floor has plenty of space to settle in with your laptop, but it’s not ready yet at this time. I noticed La Marzocco espresso machine is there and ready to fill the caffeine needs of coffee lovers out there. So yes, I went there again yesterday as a regular customer and pay for what I ordered.
Unlike many coffee shops that have cakes, freshly-baked Waffles are offered in addition to the coffee menu. And for tea drinkers, there’s a few selection of teas as well in Bermvda Coffee.
The best deal that you can get during the soft opening is the Waffle promotion. It’s interesting, but I’m not sure when the promotion will end, I forgot to ask the cashier that day.
So for the Waffle promotion, you can get a choice of your coffee for free with a purchase of any signature Waffles on the menu. It’s not a secret that I love eggs so much, and some of you may already know about it when you see my SnapChat (add me if you haven’t: myfunfoodiary)! Ha-ha.. So instead of choosing the sweet waffle, I opted in for the Egg-Spam Dable Waffle (IDR 55K) from the savory waffles menu.
The waffle which presented with the same shape as their logo is something that I cannot find elsewhere. Egg-Spam Dable Waffle has become one of the comforting treats added to my favorite list, where it’s served with spam, poached egg on top, and a little garnish around the plate. Not to mention that the waffle remains crisp after I took photos for a while yesterday, and I like the light and airy texture from it. For the free coffee, I chose Cafe Latte, which was beautifully presented and tasted good as I hoped. I enjoyed both and look forward to trying a lot more of their selections. Neat spot with a great vibe, good edibles, and friendly service, I can’t wait to return! Congratulations for the opening and all the best for you!
