[NEW POST] Bistronomy Jakarta for Vintage Romantic Casual Fine Dining

We are all aware that the culinary scene in Jakarta is growing rapidly, and we are spoiled with choices of where to go for our next dinner or dessert destination. Even though there are new restaurants constantly open up, there are many existing restaurants which we like to discover. Whether it’s for the good food, pleasant atmosphere, or a variety of other interesting things. Say like Bistronomy Jakarta! We often pass by this place but never had a chance to stop and see this place.

So recently, we decided to visit Bistronomy Jakarta, a cozy hidden paradise for casual fine dining located in Senopati (South Jakarta). Both of us, my husband and I admired the decor as Bistronomy Jakarta has a beautiful entrance surrounded by greenery. When we walked into the restaurant, we immediately fell in love its charm atmosphere, a mixture of French and Moroccan style, pretty mirrors hanging on the wall, comfortable

sofa, and the overall vintage ambiance. Each spot in the restaurant has a lovely touch that transforms Bistronomy Jakarta into a romantic place and versatile, perfect for a romantic dinner, gathering, bridal shower, birthday, and wedding.

Bistronomy Jakarta is home to many romantic restaurants that offers mostly western food, fine food, and wine. We started our romantic lunch with Audrey Hepburn set (IDR 330K++), accompanied by a glass of wine and a glass of cocktail, Screw Driver that is perfectly nice to beat the summer heat. Audrey Hepburn set consisted of a Creamy Mushroom Soup, Appetizer Plate (Tuna Tartar, Fried Chicken Fingers, Mixed Olives), a choice of pasta (Spaghetti Bolognese, Aglio Olio, or Carbonara), Beef Steak Red Wine Sauce served with mashed potato and vegetables, Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream, a choice of coffee or tea, and a mineral water.

The Mushroom Soup was quite creamy, tasty, and has a smooth texture. For the pasta, I opted in for Spaghetti Aglio Olio, and it tasted delicious than what I expected. All the food was well prepared, including the juicy Beef Steak, and mini appetizers. We happily finished our plate and had nothing to complain about.

The intimate atmosphere and soft instrumental music which played in the background made me think for a while. How I wish to turn back time, if I could, I’d ask my husband to marry me right here! It surprised me when I knew that aside from a casual fine dining, Bistronomy Jakarta also open for an intimate wedding venue. Now all that I could think was, I should celebrate my wedding anniversary in this restaurant with him. The staff was friendly, and accommodating. So, if you’re looking for a romantic restaurant in the city, whether it’s for a first date, a special anniversary dinner, or else, make sure to stop by to Bistronomy Jakarta.
