Win A Trip to NAPA Valley, California with Beringer Wine

Have you heard about Beringer Wines? Beringer is one of the most well established vineyards from Napa Valley, California. Having a strong presence in the mind of American Wine drinkers as the top selling wine brand from the region, Beringer is still growing its presence with South East Asian consumers. Many would have no idea that back in 1876, brothers Jacob and Frederick Beringer established Beringer Vineyards with a dream of making wines that would rival the finest wines from Europe. It was the brother’s steadfast belief and optimism that has taken it from strength to strength since it’s beginning. Thanks to the brothers’ hard work, Beringer Wines invited us to join their wine tasting evening held at Por Que No, Menteng (South Jakarta) last month.

All guests were welcomed to enjoy an exclusive tasting of what Beringer had to offer, ranging from the Founder’s Estate Chardonnay, Founder’s Estate Pinot Noir and White Zinfandel Sparkling Wine. We were impressed when we saw the tables arranged with many Beringer wine bottles, fresh flowers, candles, and all the canapes set up for the evening. It was so beautiful, and of course, how could I pass on this opportunity to try the star of the show, Beringer wine. All the canapes were incredible, especially the Grilled Beef Tenderloin

with Butter when paired with the Founder’s Estate Pinot Noir. Not to forget, we also enjoyed the Seafood Paella, Garlic Prawns, Beef Meatballs, Mini Trio Burger, Mushroom salad among many other delicious flavours that night. My personal favourite of the evening, I loved the Founder’s Estate Chardonnay with its rich buttery notes. It tasted so light and delicious with hints of citrus, and it inspired an elegant feeling and clean aftertaste.

From what I was able to find out about Beringer’s history, Jacob’s great-great-grandson, Chief Winemaker Mark Beringer, guides what is now California’s longest continually operating winery and one of Napa’s finest producers. A strong sense of optimism and positive belief is what sets Beringer apart as a brand, which has been richly rewarded and recognized as one of the region’s preeminent producers, and positioned around “The Spirit of American Optimism.”

Beringer Wine currently has a special campaign where everyone is encouraged to participate in their Better Beckons photo contest for a chance to win a trip for 2 to Napa Valley in May 2017. I know, that’s really awesome, right? Oh my gosh!! You must be curious to know how to enter the contest? It’s very simple, especially for those of you with a creative mind. You simply share the flavors, ingredients or meals that inspire you with a glass of wine, then upload it to your Instagram account with hashtag #BetterBeckons and #BeringerID. Best of luck!
