I remember that lots of you asked me if it’s worth visiting the Swiss Sheep Farm in Cha-Am, Thailand. That’s why I made this post to share our opinion and experiences in this place, so at least you get a big picture of what it’s like in Swiss Sheep Farm, do we have to pay, what you can get, and what can you do in this farm. Hopefully, this article can be a good reference and help you make a decision when you are planning a vacation to Thailand. 
What is Swiss Sheep Farm?
Swiss Sheep Farm is a recreation park located just North of Hua Hin; Cha-Am, Thailand and has been around since June 30, 2012. It’s actually a small open-air space that offers a farm (they said it’s European country style) in a valley surrounded by nature and with scenic mountain view. So yes, as the name implies, we went there to see the Sheep. Surprisingly, not only sheep, but there are horses, chickens, rabbits, and even, Alpaca (a South American animal, looks like the llama, has a long neck and long woolly hair).
Do we have to pay?
Yes, the entrance fee is only 120 Baht for adult (equal to IDR 48K) / 80 Baht for child (equal to IDR 32K). FREE of charge for child under 80cm. It’s very cheap, isn’t it?
What can you do at Swiss Sheep Farm?
Honestly saying, this place is nice for the first time; kids and adults will enjoy this farm, especially if they also love animals. I love animals, which is why I was so excited to go to this farm. Besides, Swiss Sheep Farm is very close to the Santorini Park Hua-Hin, I thought, why not?! I wanted to get close with dozens of sheep and feed them with grass, and finally, I did! Yay! Ha-ha… It was a fun and unforgettable experience that I will never forget. If you want, you can feed bottled milk to the baby goats as well.
There’s a coupon attached to the entrance ticket to get some grass and feed it to the sheep, but what I didn’t understand 
they asked me to pay extra 20 Baht (equal to IDR 8K) for the grass/carrot, and 30 Baht (equal to IDR 12K) for the milk. I can’t argue with the woman because she can’t speak English, so I just gave her the money and took the grass from the man, and then had fun feeding the sheep. 
What else can you do at the Swiss Sheep Farm?
For adults, there’s not much to do, but kids would probably love it as they can run around, see and feed the animals which they can’t find in the city. Kids can also ride ponies, petting and feed the rabbits, etc, but again, you have to pay extra for all that activity.
TIPS:
I suggest you avoid the mid-day trip as it’s very hot in Thailand. We came at 4.50pm and leave this place at 6.30pm.
Besides feeding the sheep, there are lots of beautiful spots to take good photos; with the windmill, with animals, inside the 3D art museum, etc. Overall, Swiss Sheep Farm can be an exciting escape for family outings, especially for children to visit and have fun interacting with animals while in Thailand.
