teamLab Future Park Instagramable Digital Art in Gandaria City

It’s time to imagine, play, and explore ‘teamLab Future Park and Animals of Flowers, Symbiotic Lives’ art exhibition; The Biggest Interactive Digital Art Installation by TeamLab Future Park Tokyo which is NOW OPENED in Jakarta at Gandaria City, South Jakarta! Woohooo! Yup, it’s happening now! If you missed the previous installation in 2017, I’m sure you don’t wanna miss this exhibition in 2019! But don’t worry, TeamLab Future Park Jakarta 2019 comes with something new, an exciting theme than before; “teamLab Future Park and Animals of Flowers, Symbiotic Lives!” I was there last week, and really excited to share our experiences with all of you, especially if you’re into art and digital spaces like us!

Where to buy the Tickets?
Tickets can be purchased online through the sgelive.com website,
OR you can buy it manually at the Sales Counter located on the Ground Floor (next to VANS shoe store), Gandaria City Mall.

Important Tips:
1. For payment, we suggest you to used BCA Credit Card to get a special price.
2. Wear or bring your socks to play in the Light Ball Orchestra and Sliding Through the Fruit Field.

Located in an area of 2,000 square meters in Gandaria City Jakarta, TeamLab installations consist of 5 exciting areas that you can explore; from Animals of Flowers, Symbiotic Lives, Graffiti Nature: Lost, Immersed and Reborn, Sliding through the Fruit Field, Sketch Aquarium, and the Light Ball Orchestra.

One of my favorite rooms at TeamLab Future Park Jakarta 2019 was the Light Ball Orchestra where I can run through the colorful balls, touch and tap tap them, so they change colors! I can even jump to touch the hanging ball at the top of the room to change the color and music. It’s so much fun!

Sketch Aquarium

Another room that you can’t miss is the Sketch Aquarium. We might spend 20 minutes here to color the fish and JellyFish with our names on them. Again, it’s entertaining! There are some papers with fish sketches available on each paper, so all you can do is you can freely choose whatever fish that you want, then you color it, and give the staff the paper to scan it. Later, your fish will come out in the aquarium. See?! That’s my JellyFish, hahaha… I had to run over here and there to catch my JellyFish and get this funny picture, hahaha…

Animals of Flowers, Symbiotic Lives

Here’s what you can find in the first installation, Animals of Flowers, Symbiotic Lives. Everyone can stroke various digital renderings of animals on the screen, causing flowers to grow on their bodies. Imagine this… We never saw animals as beautiful as this, we’re impressed!

Graffiti Nature: Lost, Immersed and Reborn

In my opinion, I think Graffiti Nature: Lost, Immersed and Reborn is the largest area for visitors to get lost and blend with nature in the form of digital art. Here, everyone can blend in with the wall, and if you go to the drawing-room, you can choose to color lizards, butterflies, or flowers and let them live on the floor and walk through the digital walls. We can even see living creatures being eaten by other living beings, seeing flowers blooming, interesting!

Sliding Through the Fruit Field

The most fun installation room is Sliding Through the Fruit Field. Remember to wear your socks before you enter this room, otherwise, they won’t allow you to play with the slide! This installation made us become a happy kid again, really… we can’t stop climbing and sliding through the fruit field many times, and most importantly, we had so much fun! No matter how old you are, you should try this slide…

Just like in Tokyo, the exhibition combines technology and art to give a sense of what form art could take in the future. Not only instagramable, but everyone can see, imagine, play and explore! The TeamLab Future Park and Animals of Flowers, Symbiotic Lives art exhibition is present from June 20 to December 20, 2019. Don’t miss it!
