If you plan to travel to Thailand, I suggest you visit Palio Khao Yai. This Instagramable shopping complex feels like a Tuscan Italian village, and it’s only 3 hours drive from Bangkok, kewl! Even though this place is not too big, we found Palio Village to be a pleasant place for photo taking with many beautiful photo spots. Another good thing about Palio Khao Yai? No entrance fee at all! Yay!
What makes Palio Khao Yai different from Primo Piazza? Here, there are so many small shops that sell local souvenirs to specialized items. At the front gate, you can find the TOPS Daily Supermarket, which is open for 24 hours. This supermarket sells daily necessities, and the products are quite complete, that’s good! For those of you who like animals, you can go to this one shop (walk straight to the square with the clock tower and turn to your right side) where you can take photos while feeding some parrots, or with a large snake draped over you.
Based on our experience, I think it will be more enjoyable if you come here before the sun went down. After we spent 2 hours in Palio Khao Yai, we also found a small food court, and there is MK restaurant at the back if you want to have a lunch break from the Thai food after a few days in Khao Yai. Ha-ha… Near the food court, you can also watch 4D Movie Theater 100 Bath for 5 minutes/person. Pssst, don’t forget to spend time in the center area of Palio Khao Yai where you can find a beautiful square with a clock tower.
The entire development at Palio Khao Yai looks like a replica of something you’ll find in Europe, especially in the back area. The whole ambiance made us want to travel back to Venice (Italy). For sure, this area looks beautiful, and so many Instagram-worthy angles to shoot! So, don’t leave your camera in your hotel room!
