As I said before, I will share our great and fun cycling moments in Kyoto, which I experienced together with my husband a few weeks ago from our vacation. I loved being in this city because I can explore many sites in Kyoto easily by bicycle, and I got the opportunity to experience a traditional Japanese lifestyle with tatami floors and futon beds when we stayed in Kanko Ryokan Hotel Omiya for three days and two nights. Oh well, I will share about how nice to stay in this hotel later on soon! 🙂

Meanwhile, I would like to encourage you to set your itinerary to visit Kyoto while you’re in Japan. WHY? Because here, they have a lot of beautiful and stunning temples which you would not find while you’re in the big city, such as Tokyo. I mean; Tokyo also has lots of temples, but they are completely different!

So, I suggest you to pay a visit to Kyoto first before you see some temples in Tokyo.

Just arrived at Kinkaku-ji (The Golden Pavilion) Temple and park our bike nearby the temple.

"Our"The

I would never forget the stunning golden reflection shimmering on the pond of Kinkaku-ji Temple (The Golden Pavilion). See the uniqueness and the famous of thousands of bright red Torii gates that wind through the hills of the Fushimi Inari-Taisha, which is also one of the must-visit shrines in Kyoto. We both drink the holy</del> water that came out directly from the Otowa Waterfall at Kiyomizu-Dera Temple where it’s said have a different benefit. And not to forget, we took a refreshing walk in the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest. We also explored the famous Ponto-cho Alley where many geisha houses and traditional tea houses are there. This area considered as the most beautiful street in the city. Yes, I agreed with that! It was so beautiful with colorful lights, lampions, yet it was too crowded when we were there!
