<\/span>Cacaote Patisserie Brasserie Bar<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong>, a Restaurant and Dessert Bar in Senopati<\/strong>, has just turned a year this September 2014. To celebrate their one-year anniversary, its humble and friendly owner invited us to tasting a variety of French-inspired new menu<\/strong> creations. I fell in love with their pretty decorations and romantic ambience when I stepped into the restaurant. Cacaote<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong> has its own characteristics with a very luxurious interior. Luxurious floor and furniture, plus those beautiful chandeliers that hang from the ceiling of the restaurant gives a different dining experience for anyone. Consisting of two floors, where the first floor has a bright and cute atmosphere decorated in pink and white, while on the 2nd floor looks more elegant in its design with dominant black and dark red color.

Me and my husband<\/a> were free to select any appetizers and any main course that’s available at Cacaote<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong>. Executive Pastry Chef, Darryl Iswaratioso<\/strong>, who is also one of the owners, recommends us some of his favorite menus.<\/p>\n

Baked Escargot, IDR 75K<\/strong>\r\n<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/pre>\n

The Baked Escargot was simply impressive. It is a delicious dish that I always look for in a French<\/strong> restaurant. It is served with crusty toasted pita bread. The Proven\u00e7al butter gives a nice flavor to the snails, where the garlic is not overpowering. Love it!<\/p>\n

Warm Camembert Salad, IDR 95K<\/strong>\r\n<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/pre>\n

A mixed green salads with thinly sliced smoked duck breast, toasted brioche, Camembert cheese, and honey mustard dressing. The Camembert cheese makes the salad became more tasty and interesting! Recommended!<\/p>\n

Salmon, IDR 155K<\/strong> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/pre>\n

A pan-seared salmon fish served with white clams, braised fennel, sauteed spinach and chives beurre<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Blanc. This classic French<\/strong> butter sauce makes an elegant finish to the salmon. It was perfectly cooked, moist meat and crispy skin. A must try!<\/p>\n

Roasted Duck Breast & Leg Confit, IDR 180K <\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/pre>\n

I guess everyone knows that duck confit is one of the most delicious and satisfying foods in the world. So I ordered this menu for myself that night. Pressed confit leg, roasted duck breast with caramelized carrot and sweet sour sauce is totally delicious! The rich and meaty flavor of this menu will excite everyone’s flavor, especially when the soft Foie Gras melts on the tongue. Oh my gosh, I loved it so much!<\/p>\n

It looks like our meal hasn’t stopped there. Darryl<\/strong> also presents several other new menus to share. There was pizza, Middle Eastern “Mixed Grill,” Cajun Whole Chicken, Prime Veal Op Ribs, and Wagyu Short Rib Bone In. Both of us already feel full so we could only taste little by little from the share menu provided. For the pizza, we both loved their thin and crunchy gourmet pizza, such as Portabella<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> and Smoked Duck Pizza<\/strong>. Both of us also fell in love with Wagyu Short Rib<\/strong> which is beautifully tender, tasty and juicy. Not to forget, Prime Veal Op Ribs<\/strong> also something that you shouldn’t miss in Cacaote<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Smoked Duck Pizza, IDR 110K<\/strong>\r\n<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/pre>\n

Braised duck, smoked duck breast, roasted pepper, and ricotta cheese.<\/p>\n

Roasted garlic, chili, honey, and raisin coleslaw served with wild mushroom sauce.<\/p>\n

Prime Veal Op Ribs, IDR 375K (300gr) \/ IDR 650K (600gr)\r\n<\/strong><\/pre>\n

Prime veal op ribs served with grilled portabella mushroom, tomato Provencale and classic bearnaise sauce. If you’re looking for a meaty ribs taste, you can opt in this menu.<\/p>\n

Wagyu Short Rib Bone In, IDR 525K (600gr)<\/strong>\r\n<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/pre>\n

Super juicy and tender Wagyu Short Rib served with onion tempura, shallot and ginger glaze. The sauce smells and tastes terrific! A must try!<\/p>\n

Middle Eastern Mixed Grill, IDR 425K<\/strong>\r\n<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/pre>\n

Beef kofta, kebab, chicken skewer, lamb chops, lamb merguez<\/span><\/span><\/span>, tiger prawn, and spicy tomato salsa.<\/p>\n

Last but not least, it’s dessert time! Among their four new plated desserts, Mango, Banana, Caramel<\/strong> and Sphere<\/strong> become a winning dessert for us.<\/p>\n

Sphere, IDR 90K<\/strong>\r\n<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/pre>\n

A unique and lovely Chocolate ball dessert where inside there is a peanut butter cookies, chocolate Chantilly, chopped caramelized nuts and chocolate cremeux<\/span><\/span><\/span>. Inside there is a beautiful heart shaped chocolate filled with Cointreau (an orange-flavored liqueur). A must try!<\/p>\n

Mango, Banana, and Caramel, IDR 85K<\/strong><\/pre>\n

Micro vanilla sponge, banana parfait, mango jelly sheet, salted caramel, caramel tuille<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>, peanut butter crumble, milk chocolate crumble, milk chocolate sorbet, and a parmesan<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> snow. If you’re looking for a lighter indulgence<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> after a heavy meal, I suggest you to try this one!<\/p>\n

Raspberry rosemary sauce, berry cream, vanilla creme patissiere, raspberry jam, puff pastry, berry sorbet, and raspberry sphere.<\/p>\n

\nCacaote<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong> also has a wide selection of French<\/strong> style desserts available at the dessert bar, such as eclairs, macaroons, and cakes. Overall, we were truly enjoyed all the new menus, especially those that has been recommended by Darryl<\/strong>. Thank you so much for having us that night! Pssst, they’re going to open a new restaurant in Central Jakarta, but this one is not related to Cacaote<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong>. “Hopefully by the end of this year,” Darryl<\/strong> said.
