I’ve been to Hongkong Disneyland with my husband and his mom back then in August 2011. And this year; we visited Tokyo Disneyland because God gave us a chance to travel to Japan. Pssst, this post has stayed in the draft since last Nov, now it’s about time for me to finish what I’ve started ‘coz I do have much time while having a long holiday until Jan 5, 2015, wohooo! Yeah anyway, we both paid everything from our savings, but we managed to press the budget wisely. Hongkong Disneyland was my very first Disney experience and finally, one of my dreams comes true! I was so excited for Tokyo Disneyland since it was my first time in Japan, and it was the second time for my husband. He went there with his family since a long time ago, before we knew each other. God is good! His big sister and little brother got a scholarship to study in Japan and from them, my husband knows Japanese speaking and reading skill (both Hiragana and Katakana). Even though he isn’t fluently like his sister and brother, but he still can read and speaks some of the Japanese language, even better than me. Ha-ha..

11.40am: when moving towards the Oedo Line, we stumbled with the famous and biggest Gyudon (Beef Bowl) restaurant chain in Japan, named Sukiya Restaurant that is open for 24 hours. This restaurant is located adjacent to the McDonald Restaurant; which is also open for 24 hours. We were both so happy and left the restaurant with a full stomach because the food tasted delicious, low prices for big portions. 12.50pm: From Oedo Line to Tokyo Disneyland,

  1. Transfer via Tsukishima.

  2. Take Yurakucho Line, stop at Shin-Kiba station.

  3. At Shin-Kiba station, take JR Keiyo Line #1 to Maihama, Soga.

  4. Stop at Maihama, Soga > you have reached Tokyo Disney Resort

When we arrived at Tokyo Disney Resort located at Maihama Station, we continue left to the Disney Resort Gateway Station. In here, there is a monorail that circles Tokyo Disney Resort, providing transportation between JR Maihama Station and major destinations within the Resort (Tokyo Disneyland Station, Bayside Station and Disney Sea Station). We should buy a Monorail Ticket cost for ¥260 (single ticket – adult) to reach the Tokyo Disneyland itself. But since we had the PASMO and SUICA IC card, we skip this part and simply touch our PASMO/SUICA Card to a sensor panel on the ticket gate and go through it.
