If you’re familiar with Selat Solo, here it is; a traditional dish of Solo that influenced by Dutch culinary. Javanese style beef tongue served with salad, half boiled egg and vegetables such as string beans, carrot, and fried potato. The mixture of sweet and sour taste from the brown sweet soy sauce and mustard tasted so fresh on the tongue. Although it may not look original as the original Selat Solo, I can taste the freshness at the first slurp, so delicious!<\/p>\n

A sweet and a little bit salty kind of dessert that reminds me of my childhood. Love it!<\/p>\n

Last but not least, we also enjoyed the popular traditional ginger drink from West Java, Indonesia. Tesate<\/span><\/span><\/strong> made it from scratch, including the Ronde (a mixture of rice flour and brown sugar that contains the crushed peanuts and brown sugar). The ginger drink itself is good to keep the body warm, healthy and yummy!<\/p>\n
