Sushi Kiosk by Sushi Tei has recently launched several new menus for breakfast. What better way to start your day than with a delicious breakfast? So, this is the good news that I want to share with you, especially for all Sushi Kiosk Lovers. If you have a desire to enjoy a yummy breakfast which can boost your mood and to energize your day, Sushi Kiosk can be a good destination to start your day. As you probably know already, Sushi Kiosk is a brand by the popular Sushi Tei, the Japanese Restaurant. They offer simplicity and good quality of Japanese cuisines, such as freshly-made sushi, sashimi, and many other hot selections, to a whole new level which is more modern and practical. This way, busy workers or students still can enjoy their favorite Japanese meals on the go to their activity place.

There are four new breakfast menus available at Sushi Kiosk; Japanese Porridge, Donburi, Onigiri, and Pancake. I found all of these menus are interesting, and tastes good, too!

Okayu Salmon Japanese Porridge, IDR 18K

Okayu is a simple Japanese dish made just from rice and water, which commonly known as Rice Porridge. Compared with the traditional Indonesian or Chinese congee, Okayu Porridge gives a different flavor which is unique and new to me. It’s thicker and comes with several toppings to add more flavors to the porridge. They topped it with Nori No Tsukudani (soy simmered seaweed), sliced of salmon, eggroll, and sprinkled with furikake (a typical dry Japanese seasoning which consists of a mixture of dried and ground fish, chopped seaweed, sesame seeds, etc.) which makes it a hearty meal for breakfast. When everything is mixed together, it turns out to be more savory, so warm and delicious! If you don’t like Salmon, you can opt-in for Okayu Tori (Japanese Chicken Porridge) or Okayu Saba (Japanese Mackerel Porridge).

"Okayu

Menci Katsu Donburi, IDR 19K

As an alternative for those of you who don’t like porridge, you might want to try a variety of Donburi at Sushi Kiosk. We tried Menci Katsu Donburi; a bowl of rice topped with deep-fried beef burger meat, onion, carrot, sweet soy sauce and sprinkled with sesame seeds. It looks simple, but the portions were quite filling and tasted delicious!

"Menci "Menci

Onigiri Moriawase, IDR 15K

Ever heard or try Onigiri Moriawase? If not, then you should try this Onigiri Moriawase. A beautiful and yummy mix combination of Onigiri (Japanese rice ball) that are served in three different colors, to differentiate one another. Salmon (the green one), Spicy Chicken (covered with furikake, the one in the middle), and Fish Floss (covered with floss, the last one). Although the Onigiri comes smaller than a palm-sized, they’re still more practical than sushi, simple, and delicious to eat! Best eaten with the dipping sauce, and wasabi to add more flavor.

"Onigiri

Pancake, IDR 8K

We also enjoyed the simple and fluffy pancakes that are available with three different options; maple syrup, chocolate, and orange. If you want something sweet and thick, you can try the chocolate sauce, or you can try maple syrup for a simple one. While the orange sauce instantly became our favorite sauce because it has a nice orange flavor, different from the others.

"Pancake

The overall experience, all the above menu is worth to try. Simple yet delicious, and all breakfast menus are available at an affordable price, ranging from IDR 15.000 to IDR 20.000,-. Enjoying breakfast now can be more fun like this, especially when I tasted the Okayu Salmon, and Menci Katsu Donburi. If you find yourself hungry and need a little snack or breakfast before doing your regular activities, just come to Sushi Kiosk and enjoy their breakfast menu. You might want to grab some onigiri rice balls too!
