Veranda Gateau et Patisserie<\/strong> is a new addition to the tea lovers in Serpong<\/strong> area. This hidden spot has been opened for almost two months, and until now, they’re open only by reservation<\/strong>. Nowadays, besides breakfast, lunch or dinner, people tend to take tea and snacks every afternoon that now becomes a lifestyle. Othniel, who I met that day, the owner of Veranda<\/strong>, bringing this concept to his little tea shop. <\/span><\/p>\n

Veranda Gateau<\/strong> is located on the second floor Melanie Florist, so you can imagine by yourself that this place isn’t big. There are only a few tables are available, but the simplicity and some vintage decor made us feel comfortable as soon as we got there. Not to forget, the chandelier adds an elegant impression on the overall atmosphere.

Among all the other tea selections, I chose the Pink Flamingo, which has a similar fragrant with Sakura flowers. I still have the Sakura TWG tea at home, and I recognized the smell, it’s quite similar. Pink Flamingo is a graceful TWG blend of green tea with crimson hibiscus blossoms that produce a nice pink color and very fragrant tea.<\/p>\n

This is the best way to enjoy my afternoon tea at Veranda Gateau<\/strong>. Rose Petit<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Fours, Chocolate Ice Berg, Mini Mint Cake, and Rose Vanilla Cheese Cake Tart, are served on a tiered cake stand. They were not overly sweet, unlike what we’ve tried at many dessert shops nowadays. Even better, because these cakes are all homemade, less sugar, and without preservative, making it safe when eaten in large quantities though.<\/p>\n
