Singapore has a variety of food that is favored by many people from different countries, and sometimes I end up craving to eat their food while I’m in Jakarta. So, today I wanted to share my experience at Tasty Singapore Food Aisle last weekend where I had the opportunity to cook together with the Celebrity Chef, Chef Chandra Yudasswara. Singapore and Indonesia have much in common in terms of culinary; that’s why the culinary taste of Asia in Singapore can easily blend with Indonesian cuisine. Therefore, Chef Chandra also present to provide inspiration to cook Indonesian food using Singapore‘s products. He made White Coffee Panna Cotta in his first demo session, and Mrs. Siti Fadilah, former health minister in Jakarta, enjoyed the Italian desserts created by Chef Chandra.

Last but not least, I also took part in the cooking demo session. Together with Chef Chandra, we demonstrated how to cook a very simple Stir-Fry Black Pepper Beef using the best of Singapore products. The result was like what I’ve tried in many restaurants in Jakarta. It was full of flavor and can be a comforting meal for the family. I will make one by myself at home and will share the recipe with you soon.
