So we visited the Ginza area after we had lunch at Sushizanmai near the Tsukiji Fish Market in Tokyo. Ginza is one of the best places to visit if you are looking for luxury or high-end shopping when in Tokyo. This area is considered as the highest fashion center of the city, suitable for anyone who loves shopping, especially for the Shopaholic where one can shop till they drop. Woohoo! For me, everything is very expensive in this area. But it’s worth wandering around this area as there are many high-rise buildings with beautiful architecture, luxury branded stores, fancy coffee shops and restaurants, and many more.

As we walked around the Ginza area, we spotted this small dessert shop, named Manneken Belgian Waffle along the road. There was this fragrant aroma from inside the shop that made me curious and eventually get into the store. Manneken Belgian Waffle apparently is a famous waffle store from Osaka, oh yes!! A lot of waffle available, but I was intrigued by a banner ad on top of the counter, White Peach Waffle. So I ordered that one and apparently it wasn’t coming out from the waffle maker. The White Peach Waffle already packaged and served cold. The waffle itself was very soft and filled with fresh peach and cold, creamy white cream in the middle. It was so delicious! All I know after that, people started queuing, and the line kept getting longer when I left the location.

If you want to experience the Japanese culture, you can visit the Kabukiza Theater. The Kabukiza Theatre has been an iconic symbol of Ginza since it opened in 1889 and rebuilt in 2013 after being destroyed by fires and wartime airborne attacks. Performances take place every day, and there are single-act tickets, available for purchase on the door (¥1,000-¥2,000). The Wako Clock is also a symbolic landmark of Ginza. It’s the oldest building in the area and was constructed in 1932 in Neo-Renaissance style.
