We heard that Jamie’s Italian Restaurant has opened in Kuta Beach, Bali on June 1, 2015. Incidentally, at the end of June 2015, we had a short vacation in Bali; Therefore, we decided to have lunch at Jamie Oliver’s newest branch after he succeeded with the Singapore branch. Oh, by the way..! Are you also a fan of Jamie Oliver, the famous British Celebrity Chef who inspires people with his recipe book “Everyday Super Food”, and many other recipes? Yeah, I’m sure you’re already familiar with his profile. Well, the Bali branch also adapted the rustic and casual style that has become the hallmark of the British chef. This brand-new restaurant split into two dining areas: Alfresco and Indoor areas that are divided into two floors. The first floor offers the bar, while the second floor partially functioned as a semi-open kitchen.

We were quite surprised by their menu because the price is higher than probably all other places in Bali. But because it was our first time at Jamie’s Oliver, we wanted to try. I think people will also come to Jamie’s to try the ambiance and the Italian foods that they offer in Bali. We didn’t want to drink alcohol in the afternoon, so we skip the spritz, cocktails, and wine section, and eventually ordered the Homemade Italian Lemonade and Berry Blast for IDR 90K each (before tax and service). Both non-alcoholic cocktails made with simple ingredients, tasted very refreshing, and great for hot summer days in Bali, but unfortunately very expensive for what we get.
