Are you a fan of Japanese food, especially sushi? Well, check this out, guys! We just went to Sushi Naru Fusion Sushi and Ramen restaurant last week. So, Sushi Naru is a two-storey restaurant that specializes in serving All-You-Can-Eat Sushi at an affordable price. Located in Ruko Paramount Centre Blok B No. 15, Kelapa Dua, Gading Serpong, this restaurant is decorated with minimalist Japanese decor and dark brown furniture that creates a warm atmosphere inside. Everything looks neat, and as what we usually find in many other Japanese restaurants; the plates, chopsticks, soy sauce, and chili powder has been placed on each table. Even the comic books became ornaments in some table.

Surprisingly, for the drinks, the option is not limited to only Hot/Cold Ocha, but they also offer soft drinks and milkshakes as well. So, I ordered the Green Tea Milkshake, which was refreshing and not too sweet, and an additional Orange Juice for him. We liked it!

It’s nice to know that all the sushi is made to order, so we had to wait for a while. We tried some of their favorite sushi rolls, such as Baby Octopus Roll, Himawari Crispy Roll, and Sixth Hokage Roll, which was very spicy, but we can choose the level of spiciness too. All the sushi that we ordered that day tasted delicious, fresh, well presented and had the right balance of flavor, even though they use local rice to make the sushi.

Most of the Sushi at Sushi Naru looked attractive from the menu, but then I decided to try out some of their favorite rice menus, such as Chicken Katsu Curry and Volcano Baked Rice. Both rice dishes are served in a quite big portion. Although the Curry rice wasn’t authentic as the Japanese version, I liked how succulent the chicken breast, covered with crispy golden breadcrumbs on the outside and tasted a bit spicy. If you are a cheese lover, you should try the Volcano Baked Rice. The cheesy baked rice tasted so comforting with lots of mozzarella cheese, mayonnaise, and Chicken Katsu on top and paired beautifully with butter fried rice. It was so delicious!

Overall from our lunch experience, we enjoyed everything from the beginning at Sushi Naru Restaurant. The staff are friendly and are quick to deliver food, clean off empty plates, and assist with anything. If you can’t eat that much, do not worry, because Sushi Naru also serves a la carte Sushi, some Sashimi, Ramen, Soba, and Udon, at an affordable price. So, if you happen to be in Gading Serpong or Serpong area, don’t forget to visit Sushi Naru with family and friends.
