Woohoo! Guys, here comes another new coffee shop in my neighborhood! Simetri Coffee Roasters<\/strong> is a newly opened coffee shop located in Puri Indah<\/strong> house complex (just a few blocks away from Bakmi Agoan Puri Indah!!<\/a>) We went there a day before they open for public, and together with Hans, we tried some coffees and their breakfast menus. The ambiance inside this coffee shop feels like home for us; cozy, lots of natural light, and natural color use in most of the interior. I could probably just sit there all day, working, sipping coffee and enjoying the atmosphere!<\/p>\n

I was not feeling well that day because of the stomach acid, and the doctor advised me to avoid coffee and tea for a while. I know I shouldn’t drink coffee that day because my stomach was empty since the morning, but my curiosity didn’t stop me! Finally, I tasted some cold beverages, and liked the Coco Spro (IDR 32K)<\/strong> better than Spro and Tonic (IDR 32K)<\/strong>. Both drinks are espresso-based drinks, served cold, where the Coco Spro<\/strong> is mixed with coconut water and Sunkist orange while Spro Tonic<\/strong> is a blend of espresso and tonic water in it. Banana Nutella Bread (IDR 30K)<\/strong>, Green Tea Choco Bread (IDR 28K)<\/strong>, and Carrot Pineapple Walnut Bread (IDR 28K)<\/strong> became a great companion for these coffee, and I hardly choose which is which my favorite, coz I really liked them all!<\/p>\n

When you want a coffee, but you also want ice cream, you should try Affogato (IDR 35K).<\/strong> It was a simple treat where hot Espresso poured over the sweet Vanilla Ice Cream. The contrast taste in a mixture of hot and cold with the sweet and delicious taste of vanilla ice cream and coffee, it was nice to beat the heat! Or if you want a classic Espresso with warm steamed milk, just go for a cup of Hot Latte (IDR 35K)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In addition to coffee, Simetri Coffee<\/strong> also serves a variety of foods, such as some options for breakfast, pasta, and Asian food. We tried some foods from the breakfast sections; Potato and Fish (IDR 45K)<\/strong>, Breakie Burger (IDR 60K)<\/strong>, and Pan Egg Chorizo (IDR 49K)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This burger is comprised of grill oz beef patty, cheese, and side of fries. The beef patty was juicy, and the beautiful egg added a nice dimension to the overall burger. Nothing special with the fries but the sweet and sour chili sauce dipping sauce tasted good and made me can’t stop munching it.<\/p>\n

The Pan Egg Chorizo at Simetri Coffee<\/strong> easily became my favorite too. A Spanish style pan egg served with pepper chorizo (spicy pork sausage) with roasted potato. It was classic and simply tasted delicious!<\/p>\n

The combination of smoked salmon served with avocado salsa and mesclun salad beautifully presented on this dish. The salad was fresh, but the salmon was overcooked and the avocado salsa tasted a bit weird like too garlicky for my personal taste.<\/p>\n

Overall, we had a pleasant time at Simetri Coffee Roasters<\/strong> two days ago. We loved the ambiance, because Simetri Coffee<\/strong> is a comfortable coffee spot with breakfast and lunch options.
