Before heading to The Lawn Canggu<\/strong>, we went to Quince Cafe<\/strong>, which is located in the same area in Canggu Bali<\/strong>. Quince Cafe<\/strong> is a small cafe that offers healthy and well-made food in which mostly uses organic and local ingredients, with some imported ingredients as well. And surprisingly, they also have plenty of vegetarian\/vegan \/ gluten-free options on the menu. The cozy ambiance and bright cafe with natural light from the sun that comes in, made us feel so relaxed and comfortable in the cafe.\u00a0Well, not only that, but Michelle<\/strong>, a textile designer as well as a chef, relocated their homewares and textiles from Quince Melbourne to Bali<\/strong>, together with Armen<\/strong>, her Balinese husband who likes to chat and also take orders from guests in the cafe.\u00a0He was so friendly and welcoming, although we seemed busy taking pictures here and there while they prepare what we ordered for lunch that day. We ordered the Warm Olive Oil Cake (IDR 70K)<\/strong>, and Three Colors Quinoa (IDR 75K)<\/strong> from the breakfast section, Asian Spiced Duck with Fresh Rice Paper Rolls (IDR 75K)<\/strong>, Iced Lemongrass and Ginger (IDR 35K)<\/strong>, and Hot Cappuccino (IDR 25K)<\/strong>. It took at least 20-25 minutes to get our food ready on the table. But hey, it was all worth the wait. The cake was not too sweet, moist, and perfectly balanced with other flavors. While the Three Colors Quinoa<\/strong> was also presented with two soft boiled eggs, but it comes with spinach and feta fritters with steamed asparagus strips. Everything was fresh and tasty, including the Asian spiced duck<\/strong> rolled in fresh rice paper rolls which accompanied with Thai chili sauce. It was quite similar to the Vietnamese rolls that we used to eat in a Vietnamese restaurant.\u00a0We also love the Hot Cappuccino<\/strong>, and although the Lemongrass and Ginger tea<\/strong> looked very simple, it tasted so refreshing; perfect to beat the summer heat in Bali<\/strong>.\u00a0Overall, it was a delightful lunch and memorable experience for us.
