Situated in the Kemang<\/strong> neighborhood, there’s Honu Poke and Matcha Bar<\/strong> specializing in serving Hawaiian-Japanese bowls<\/strong>. We realized they took over the place which is formerly Atavola Restaurant, and the bright green color on their walls made us easier to find them! The place itself is quite small, with a separated area (non-smoking and smoking area) and the toilet is at the back of the smoking room. An open kitchen, the waitress in Hawaiian t-shirt, and some classic poke menu will surely please your taste buds, because yes, the food here was yummy and I found the matcha latte interesting. It consisted of my favorite salmon and tuna, with a creamy sauce, wakame, lettuce, carrots, and tempura crunch. As simple as that, but all the combinations made my dish looks colorful! Both fish were tasty, and the other ingredients were pretty fresh as well. Overall, the poke bowl was so delicious, and healthy all in ONE bowl! While the Iced Matcha Latte<\/strong> were so delicious and tasted so refreshing without being overly sweet nor too creamy! If I am ever craving poke again, I will come back here!
