Shangri-La Hotel Jakarta<\/strong> has always been my top favorite hotel in Jakarta because they have a beautiful big garden and cozy swimming pool which is surrounded by a lush garden that makes us and you forget that you are in a busy city. On top of that, Shangri-La Hotel Jakarta<\/strong> is strategically located in the center of the business district and just 30 minutes from the airport<\/strong>. There are lots of options for great food in the hotel, and not to mention, we received a warm welcome and being provided with excellent service during our stay. Although this hotel is an old building, some rooms have been renovated, including our room. The in-room check in went smoothly, and our room was spotlessly clean, beautiful, spacious, and elegant, with a lovely view over the swimming pool and the city of Jakarta. Personally, we enjoyed a personalized experience that the Horizon Club<\/strong> staff provided for breakfast, but the choice of food wasn’t as much as the buffet breakfast at Satoo Restaurant<\/strong> which offers a wide variety of dishes and cuisines. The selection of food at Satoo Restaurant<\/strong> is impressive, where there are more than six counters with interesting arrangements to satisfy diners, ranging from Indonesian food, Western food, Indian food, Japanese food, BBQ, etc<\/strong>. Interestingly, they even provide a traditional Indonesian healthy drink<\/strong> (commonly known as Jamu) to keep and maintain our stamina. It was not our first visit to Satoo<\/strong>, but still, they never disappointed us. We always enjoy their sushi, sashimi, prawn cocktails, and oysters. The Sunday brunch at Rosso<\/strong> was actually a new offer promotion which starts from IDR 490K (include a choice of mineral water, juices, or soft drinks)<\/strong> where diners can enjoy a wide variety of Italian food, buffet style, fresh oysters, and some special a la carte menu<\/strong>, specially prepared by the Italian chef, Gianfranco Pirrone<\/strong>.
