And we’re so thankful to receive lots of your recommendations through my Instagram (thank you so much!). As they say, sharing is caring; so in this post, we’ll share our coffee experience in Melbourne<\/strong> with you as well. 1. Market Lane Coffee<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Market Lane Coffee<\/strong> already has six stores around Melbourne<\/strong>, but we visited the one located just opposite to Queen Victoria Market (in the Dairy Produce Hall)<\/strong>. We came in around 9 am on Sunday morning, and it was pretty crowded. The aroma of the coffee fills up the room, but since this place is only a small coffee shop, there’s only one table available to enjoy croissants and coffee at the shop, but they’re friendly and helped us find a seat at the counter (without table). Currently, Market Lane Coffee<\/strong> only serves coffee and some tea, so we can’t have matcha, and hot chocolate drinks here. And we can’t replace the full cream milk with almond or soy milk, ‘coz they don’t have it. For a quick breakfast, we had Almond Croissant (5.2$ AUD) and Blueberry Danish, accompanied with a cup of Hot Latte (4.50$ AUD)<\/strong> made of their seasonal house-blend coffee. The coffee tasted good, we would love to come back again here.<\/p>\n

St. Ali Coffee<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\nSt. Ali Coffee<\/strong> is known as one of the pioneers of specialty coffee in Melbourne<\/strong>, and they have an intensive brunch menu. We instantly loved the rustic charm of the warehouse as we entered their coffee shop, it’s airy and vintage looking, with mostly sharing tables in this cafe. We’ve tried their coffee when they have a pop-up stall at the Renascence Gippsland for Melbourne Food and Wine Festival 2018<\/strong>, and it was perfect. We went back again the next day and visited this hidden gem to taste something else, so I ordered the Hot Chai Latte<\/strong>, but it was too watery and too milky, just bland. Higher Ground Coffee<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\nWe had read good things about Higher Ground<\/strong> which is known as one of the famous brunch spots in the west of Melbourne\u2019s CBD<\/strong>, so we decided to come. It was a Wednesday afternoon, but the place was already swarming with people. Fortunately, it wasn’t difficult to get a seat. This cool warehouse has a wonderful vibes with lots of plants and natural light coming in from the big window in the restaurant. There’s a coffee shop area outside the cafe, so while waiting for a seat, we ordered their Hot Latte for 4.30$ AUD<\/strong>, and the coffee tasted nice. We also came here for brunch with the Ricotta Hotcakes<\/strong> which is very popular here. Patricia Coffee Brewers<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\nThis little coffee shop is indeed like an oasis for coffee addicts because this place is literally hidden from the main street of Little Bourke St in Melbourne<\/strong>! Since we knew that Patricia Coffee Brewers closed early at 4 pm<\/strong>, we quickly rushed to this place, and we found many people sitting outside their shop. Apparently, this place is really small, and no seats available inside, so it’s purely a standing coffee experience. Ha-ha… The menu at Patricia<\/strong> is simple, only from White Coffee (4.30$ AUD), Black Coffee (4$ AUD) or Filter coffee service (4$ AUD)<\/strong>, roasted by either Seven Seeds, or other beans. They also have a cold brew coffee on the menu, but we decided to try the White Coffee with Patricia house blend<\/strong>, and it was absolutely the best coffee amongst all that we’ve tried in Melbourne<\/strong>! They served it thick and strong, along with a bottomless glass of sparkling mineral water. They also have a small selection of pastries supplied by Lune Croissanterie, and other pastry shops, you should try some of them. Overall, we loved the whole experience, great texture, strong coffee with a dark chocolate flavor profile, and their quick, friendly service. Hands down to the best coffee in Melbourne<\/strong>! Brother Baba Budan<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\nThis little coffee shop is located nearby to Patricia Coffee Shop<\/strong> and is also buzzing with locals and tourists. I heard that Brother Baba Budan<\/strong> is the first coffee shop from Seven Seeds pillar<\/strong> before the other coffee shop uses it. So of course, the house coffee is from the Seven Seeds blend, but they also have coffee of the day, usually a single origin. The place is really small; we have to sit squeeze with other people at the large single communal table. However, the decor looks attractive with many wooden chairs hanging above the ceiling. Too bad the atmosphere was noisy, so we ordered a cup of Flat White for 4.50$ AUD<\/strong> and left the coffee shop. When we came here, this place was packed with so many people, but they had a spacious dining area; it’s more like St Ali Coffee which also offers a variety of exciting food on their menu. All sorts of brewing devices are available there, but personally, we’re not a fan of Seven Seeds coffee<\/strong>.
