I spent a wonderful 2D1N<\/strong> (Two Days, One Night) weekend stay in<\/span> Hilton Bandung<\/strong> for 5th Anniversary<\/strong> and Asian Culinary Summit event<\/strong> on<\/span> 15-16 March 2014. This Food Bloggers Trip<\/strong> was completely sponsored by Hilton Bandung<\/strong>. I never thought I could be part of this, Thank God<\/strong>! So here I am now, I’m going to share all the sweet, yummy and a great experience while I was there. Finally, out of 1423 photos, I managed to select some of the best for this post. Gosh! Yes, that much! Hahaha<\/span><\/span>… Thanks to my full time photographer<\/span><\/span> who is my husband, Andy Pau<\/a> for these lovely photos. \ud83d\ude42\u00a0<\/em>Well anyway, I’m going to share 2-days-experiences into one post, starts from Chef’s Table Lunch<\/strong> on day 1, Snacking and relaxing at Floating Market Lembang<\/strong>, Dinner and Breakfast at Purnawarman Restaurant,<\/strong> and Lunch at Fresco Restaurant<\/strong> next to pool side on day 2.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

\"View<\/a><\/p>\n

Perjalanan<\/span><\/span> Jakarta – Bandung – Jakarta selama 2 hari sepenuhnya<\/span><\/span> menggunakan<\/span><\/span> Charter Bus Big Bird<\/em><\/strong>, sebuah<\/span><\/span> brand transportasi<\/span><\/span> yang cukup<\/span><\/span> terpercaya<\/span><\/span> di<\/span><\/span> Indonesia dibawah naungan Blue Bird Group<\/strong>. Kapasitas<\/span><\/span> charter bus<\/em>\u00a0Big Bird<\/strong> ini<\/span><\/span> bisa<\/span><\/span> memuat<\/span><\/span> maksimum<\/span><\/span> 10-11 orang<\/span><\/span> dengan fasilitas AC, LCD TV with DVD Player, Radio Calling and GPS System. Thanks to the driver who took us anywhere in Bandung<\/strong> until we came back to Jakarta<\/strong> safely. Yay<\/span><\/span>!<\/em><\/p>\n

Once I entered the lobby, I was impressed with the 360-degree spiral staircase. Everything is well designed there!\u00a0The lobby is extremely spacious with good wi-fi<\/span> access, that’s nice!<\/em><\/em>\u00a0Banner besar<\/span> bergambar<\/span> wajah<\/span> kelima<\/span> Chef yang diundang<\/span> secara khusus pada<\/span> Asian Culinary Summit<\/strong> event ini<\/span> langsung<\/span> mengalihkan<\/span> perhatianku<\/span> sampai<\/span>\u00a0Juliawati Sadeli <\/strong>(Marketing Communication Manager)<\/em> dan<\/span> Aldo Kepank<\/strong> (Marketing Communication Executive)<\/em> menghampiri<\/span> dan<\/span> menyambut<\/span> ramah<\/span> kami<\/span> di<\/span> lobby. Sambutan yang ramah ini membuatku lupa akan lamanya perjalanan menuju Bandung<\/strong>\u00a0dan Welcoming Drink<\/em> berupa Fruit Punch<\/strong> yang disediakan benar-benar terasa menyegarkan. Tanpa menunggu lama, King Hilton Deluxe Guest Room<\/strong>, sebuah kamar yang disediakan untukku<\/span> telah<\/span> ready<\/em> dan<\/span> aku bisa segera<\/span> meletakkan barang-barang bawaan di<\/span> kamar<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Surprisingly,\u00a0the room is very spacious and clean! It has a very comfortable bed\u00a0with modern and stylish look in most of the decorations. <\/em>Semuanya<\/span> sudah<\/span> well furnished<\/em>, terdapat<\/span> LED TV\u00a0besar<\/span>, working desk<\/em>, sofa minimalis<\/span> dengan<\/span> coffee table<\/em> dan<\/span> fresh fruits<\/em> di<\/span> atasnya<\/span>, mini bar, dan<\/span> toilet yang sangat bersih. Aku juga merasa senang\u00a0sekali ketika melihat jendela besar di kamar dengan view ke kolam renang hotel di bawahnya. Pengalaman dan pemandangan dari kamar\u00a0membuatku tidak henti-hentinya mengucap syukur pada Tuhan atas kesempatan berharga ini. Thank God!<\/em>\u00a0Meskipun cuaca saat itu mendung, keseruan acara kami tetap berlanjut… \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Agenda pertama<\/span> dari<\/span> Food Bloggers Trip<\/strong> ini<\/span> dimulai dengan mencoba<\/span> beberapa<\/span> hidangan spesial Hilton Bandung<\/strong> dan<\/span> langsung<\/span> menikmatinya<\/span> di<\/span> Banquet Kitchen hotel. Chef’s Table Lunch at the Kitchen<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0saat<\/span> itu<\/span> langsung<\/span> dilayani oleh\u00a0Executive Sous Chef Dadan Rudani<\/strong>\u00a0sehingga<\/span> pengalaman<\/span> makan<\/span> jadi<\/span> terasa<\/span> eksklusif<\/span>. Poached Salmon, Chilly and Honey Lemon Vinaigrette Crusted Herb Tuna – Appetizer<\/strong><\/p>\n

Daging tuna dan ikan salmon fresh telah di-pan-seared<\/em> sebentar, disajikan dengan sayuran segar. Tekstur kedua ikannya sangat lembut dengan tingkat kematangan setengah matang, perfect<\/em>! Di atas salmonnya diberi saus salsa\u00a0homemade<\/em>\u00a0terbuat dari campuran buah naga dan potongan buah alpukat, love it! <\/em>Daging tuna fillet-nya pun juga sangat lembut, renyah dan wangi dengan lapisan wijen hitam putih pada bagian luarnya.<\/p>\n

Rasa asam segar dari lemon sorbet<\/em> menjadi jeda untuk menetralisir lidah menuju menu berikutnya.<\/p>\n

Pindang Iga yang menjadi signature menu<\/em> Restoran Purnawarman Hilton Bandung<\/strong> ini memang terbukti nyata lezatnya! Satu bagian iga berukuran cukup besar ditata diatas semangkuk nasi dan disajikan di atas wadah anti lengket berbentuk bundar. Aroma bakarannya<\/span> begitu<\/span> harum<\/span> menggoda<\/span>. First bite and I’m so in love with this menu!<\/em> Sungguh ini adalah daging iga paling empuk<\/span>\u00a0yang pernah aku makan! Untuk memotong dagingnya cukup menggunakan sendok dan garpu (tanpa pisau) dan daging iga terlepas dengan mudah dari tulangnya! Tekstur<\/span> daging<\/span> begitu<\/span> juicy <\/em>d<\/em>an<\/span> lembut<\/span> sekali.\u00a0Rasa pedas manis dan gurih bumbunya benar-benar nikmat apalagi saat diberi sedikit perasan jeruk nipis untuk menambah citarasa segar. Aroma harum<\/span> jamur<\/span> langsung tercium saat<\/span> menu ini<\/span> disajikan<\/span>. Seporsi pasta lebar pipih dimasak dengan pesto sauce<\/em> dan jamur champignon, disajikan dengan daging dada ayam berisi potongan daging bebek dan jamur. Pastanya enak, tidak lengket dan bertekstur al dente<\/em>. Taburan keju parmesan di atasnya menambah gurih nikmat menu ini yang rupanya adalah signature menu<\/em> di Restoran Fresco Hilton Bandung<\/strong>. Must try!<\/em><\/p>\n

Chocolate Fondant<\/strong><\/p>\n

Kejutan<\/span> berikutnya<\/span> adalah<\/span> Chocolate Fondant yang saat disajikan masih<\/span> tertutup<\/span> silinder<\/span> silver tinggi<\/span>. Ketika tutup silinder dilepas, langsung terlihat sebuah cake cokelat hangat terbuat dari Belgian Chocolate<\/em>\u00a0dan bagian dalam cake langsung meleleh ketika dibelah dengan sendok. Perpaduan tekstur cake yang sangat lembut, rasa hangat pada cake dan sedikit rasa pahit pada cokelatnya semakin sempurna ketika dinikmati dengan\u00a0es krim Vanilla yang manis. Trust me! It’s so delicious! It’s not an ordinary melted chocolate cake but it’s the best Melted Chocolate Cake ever! Must try! \u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Setelah puas dengan hidangan VIP hasil kreasi Chef Dadan<\/strong>, acara pun dilanjutkan dengan mengunjungi Floating Market Lembang<\/strong>. Berlokasi di daerah Bandung Barat,<\/strong> taman wisata ini dibangun di atas Danau Situ Umar dan\u00a0merupakan satu-satunya pasar terapung di Bandung<\/strong>. Biaya masuk ke taman wisata ini dikenakan harga Rp. 10.000,- (per orang) dan Rp. 5.000,- (per mobil) dimana tiket masuk per orang bisa ditukarkan dengan minuman panas seperti\u00a0Milo, Lemon Tea, Coffee latte, atau Choco Latte pada beberapa stand penukaran yang tersedia. Outdoor area<\/em>-nya menarik dengan teras atau gazebo yang dikelilingi taman dan kolam kecil sehingga bisa menikmati sarapan sambil menghirup udara sejuk di taman. Pilihan<\/span> menu untuk<\/span> sarapan<\/span> ada<\/span> banyak sekali dan<\/span> yang sudah aku coba semuanya<\/span> enak<\/span>, mulai dari Beef Bacon, Chicken Sausage, Stir-Fry Mushrooms, Fresh Salad, Fresh Smoked Salmon, Sunny Egg and Scrambled Egg on request.<\/em>\u00a0Setelah sarapan, semua peserta Food Bloggers Trip<\/strong>\u00a0mengikuti<\/span> Asian Chef Festival Cooking Show<\/strong> yang dilakukan di<\/span> salah satu Ballroom Hilton Bandung<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Sebelum kembali ke Jakarta, kami diundang untuk menikmati santap siang di pinggir kolam renang Restoran Fresco<\/strong> yang berada di lantai 6 Hilton Bandung<\/strong>. Fresco Restaurant<\/strong> is an Italian<\/strong> semi fine dining restaurant with open-kitchen concept<\/span>.<\/em> Suasana semi-outdoor<\/em> pada restoran ini terlihat romantis apalagi ada angin sepoi-sepoi dan pemandangan kolam renang biru teduh berlatar city view<\/em>. Di sesi lunch<\/em> ini pun kami ditemani oleh Chef Somnath Dep dari Hilton Chennai<\/strong> (Indian Food) <\/em>yang belum sempat bincang-bincang saat sesi dinner day 1<\/em> di Purnawarman<\/strong>. Siang itu<\/span> aku<\/span> mencoba<\/span> dua<\/span> diantara<\/span> menu terbaiknya<\/span> yaitu<\/span> Grilled Sirloin of Wagyu<\/strong> dan<\/span> Pepperoni Pizza<\/strong>. Untuk<\/span> minuman<\/span>, mereka<\/span> merekomendasikan<\/span> dua<\/span> minuman favoritnya yaitu<\/span> Thailand Bubble Tea<\/strong> dan<\/span> Strawberry Twist<\/strong>. Sedangkan<\/span> untuk<\/span> Dessert<\/em>, aku<\/span> mencoba<\/span> Tiramisu Madness<\/strong> dan<\/span> Warm Chocolate Fondant<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Thailand Bubble Tea<\/em> sebenarnya<\/span> adalah<\/span> basic<\/em> Thai Ice Tea yang diberi<\/span> topping pearl bubble<\/em> di<\/span> bawahnya<\/span>. Pearl hitam<\/span> yang kenyal<\/span> enak sekali digigit<\/span> sambil meminum Thai Ice Tea<\/em>–nya<\/span> yang segar<\/span>, seperti<\/span> sedang<\/span> meminum<\/span> Bubble Tea! Kombinasi buah Strawberry, pisang dan mangga pada minuman Strawberry Twist<\/em> menghasilkan perpaduan rasa\u00a0asam, manis, dan segar menjadi satu. Both of them are so refreshing!<\/em><\/p>\n

Daging<\/span> Grilled Australian Wagyu Beef<\/em> yang empuk dan<\/span> juicy<\/em> ini<\/span> disajikan dengan<\/span> aneka<\/span> tumis sayuran, Dauphinoise Potato<\/em> dan<\/span> Red Wine Demiglace sauce<\/em>. Dauphinoise potato-<\/em>n<\/em>ya<\/em>\u00a0<\/em>sudah<\/span> gurih<\/span> terbuat dari potongan tipis kentang<\/span> yang sudah ditaburi keju dan<\/span> di-gratin<\/em>.<\/span>Citarasa daging<\/span> dan<\/span> aromanya<\/span> berpadu dengan homemade sauce<\/em> yang terbuat dari<\/span> brown sauce<\/em> dan<\/span> red wine sauce, so yummy! A great simple looking Italian pizza with Italian Tomato Sauce, Beef Salami, Red and Green Capsicum, and Mozzarella Cheese. <\/em>Pizza di sini dibuat menggunakan oven tungku sehingga tekstur renyah dan garingnya sangat berbeda dari pizza pada umumnya. Simply delicious! Must try!<\/em><\/p>\n

\"Pepperoni<\/a><\/p>\n

Tiramisu Madness and Warm Chocolate Fondant<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tiramisu Madness is made from soft cream mascarphone<\/span> Sabayon with Coffee Liquer<\/span> Sponge.<\/em> Rasa Tiramisunya enak dan teksturnya lembut sekali namun masih terasa kemanisan bagiku. Sedangkan<\/span> Warm Chocolate Fondant<\/em>–nya<\/span> mirip sekali dengan Chocolate Fondant<\/em> yang disajikan saat<\/span> Chef’s Table<\/strong> di<\/span> dapur<\/span>, namun<\/span> beda<\/span> penyajiannya<\/span>. Pastinya, Warm Chocolate Fondant<\/em> ini telah membuatku jatuh cinta pada rasa, tekstur dan kelembutannya. Must try!<\/em><\/p>\n

Kedua dessert<\/em> cantik diatas telah menjadi penutup hidangan yang manis untuk santap siang hari itu. Semua<\/span> pengalaman bersantap hidangan<\/span> baik<\/span> dari<\/span> Chef’s Table at the Kitchen<\/strong>, Buffet Dinner<\/em> dan<\/span> Breakfast <\/em>di<\/span> Restoran Purnawarman<\/strong>, hingga<\/span> Lunch<\/em> di<\/span> samping<\/span> pool side<\/em> Restoran Fresco<\/strong> sangat berkesan bagiku. Menikmati keindahan danau Situ Umar sambil berbelanja aneka jajanan di atas perahu di taman wisata Floating Market Lembang<\/strong> bersama teman-teman food blogger<\/em> yang turut serta dalam trip ini pun juga sangat menghibur walaupun waktunya cukup singkat.
