As a food, travel and lifestyle blogger, this article may not be related to other posts which already posted on my blog. Just recently, I remember there was a lot of people asked me when did I start my blog, why, and how to begin? It was a very long story, but I’ve shared everything, and you can read more about me on my blog. Now I’m thinking to share some tips on how to get more traffic to your website or blog based on my experience, and hopefully, this article can inspire you, especially if you want to start your first blog.
When I began blogging in 2011, I hoped that I would get so many traffic through search engines. But the fact is, I cannot get too much traffic from Google because my blog was still very new at that time and it took many years until the search engine traffic streams in, finally! There are so many ways you can do to increase traffic to your website or blog, such as choosing the right SEO Plugin for WordPress, a domain name, the right topic, etc.
I learned that when I blog consistently, my traffic grows regularly. Until today, I’m thankful for the traffic stats to my website, where I can get an average of more than 1,630 visitors per day. It’s not a big number when compared to high-traffic bloggers out there, but yes, I’m willing and still learning to maximize my content to create more traffic and more readers to my site.
Just recently I discovered CoSchedule from the web and decided to try out the trial version for 14 days after I read all the good testimony of other bloggers on their website. During trying the trial version, I become more efficient than ever before. It’s why I decided to keep using it today because CoSchedule really saved me a lot of time! So, what is CoSchedule about?
CoSchedule is all about publishing your content. It works wonderfully as a content marketing calendar that helps me to plan, create, and promote my content all in one place. It also offers me the ability to share both my own and curated content on various social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Google+. That’s so kewl! Too many plugins caused me pain lately, and finally, CoSchedule is there with its all-in-one solution for bloggers like me.
With their amazing WordPress plugin, you can save a ton of time and grow your traffic by scheduling social media promotion right from WordPress while you blog! Oh well, not only that! You can manage all of my content easily using drag-and-drop simplicity. Besides WordPress, CoSchedule also integrates with major platforms like, Evernote, Google Docs, and Google Analytics, which makes it more powerful for many users. That’s wonderful, right? I know!
These are some benefits of using CoSchedule:
– all-in-one marketing planner
– easy drag and drop on WordPress calendar make me easy to see if there are gaps, overlaps post, etc
– easy social media scheduling and easily re-schedule old blog content
– of course, we get more traffic than before
– a lot more integrations that will simplify your life
One of my favorite features from CoSchedule is the ability for me to see all my “top posts” that received the highest engagement. I think CoSchedule is the best way to simplify
your social sharing by planning ahead, setting up your blog to automatically post as scheduled. Overall, I’d like to say thanks to CoSchedule because the editorial calendar makes me blog more efficiently that give me more time to do other exciting things in life, yay!
